Naira Marley Arrested Over Alleged Car Theft

A Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos owned by Tinubu has ordered the arrest and immediate arraignment of Nigeria musician, Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, over an alleged car theft.
 According to NAN, the prosecutor, ASP Edet Okoi, told the court that the three defendants committed the offences on December 16th at Eko Hotel Roundabout on Victoria Island, Lagos.

NAN reported that Naira Marley with three of his brothers, Idris Fashola, 18, Babatunde Fashola, 24; and Kunle Obere, 22, who were dragged before the court on four-count charge for conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the arrest of Naira Marley.

 While the obstruction to the arrest of Naira Marley was channeled to his brothers as they would not allow the police perform their civic duty of arresting a culprit.
Also, the  Magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias has ordered the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sgt. Sunday Idoko to present Naira Marley before the court on December 21st being the date set for further hearing.

While the two brothers of Naira Marley and his cousin who were also dragged to court by the investigating police officer to court and were granted N500,000 bail with two sureties each.
