Church members stone senior pastor to coma making demand for their tithes

The senior pastor of a new generation church has been stoned to coma by his church members when they discovered he was using their tithes to build a "mansion" in the next town just an hour drive away from the church location.
The police came to the rescue of a senior pastor of a popular church (church name withheld) in Accra Ghana whose members almost killed during a Sunday service when one of his board members confessed to the congregation on the alter that the senior pastor was building a big house in the next town with their tithes, he said he had been battling with guilt in his heart since he found out what was really happening to the tithes the church has been paying.
"All of you know that am a very curios person and since this church started I have been an active member and followed through the struggles until the church became this big, since the church started I have been paying my tithes as everyone here is doing, since it was a new church I believed the tithe and offerings were used for the building we're seated inside now, when this church was complete and every equipment was bought, I still believed it was from our tithes and offerings, now today will make it a year and two months since we completed everything in this church, we are still paying our tithes and giving offerings, but my curiosity made me want to inquire what the money is been used for now that this church is looking so nice and great, I tried different ways to ask the pastor but he never went straight to the point, he will gist me something else and give me prayer points whenever I ask him, so I gave up and walked my way up to the church board, being a member I still did not get the clear knowledge of where and what the tithes were used for, I tried until I finally notice a particular account that money is been sent to, it was not the church account number and it was not little amount of money. On this faithful day, the senior official who does the transaction was not around, so I was sent to the bank, on my way, I went through the account number and account name, I saw the details and the receivers phone number was their, I copied it and after sending the money I called the number to tell him I had sent him the money, he asked me who I was and I explained so he asked me to tell the pastor that they will need another twenty bags of cement in the next three days, I began to understand some things I didn't, I did not tell the pastor what he told me (I usually do not forget easily but I totally forgot this), so he thought I was the new messenger, instead of calling the senior official or the pastor, he called me the third day in reference to the twenty bags of cement, I quickly acted like I did not forget, I said he would get it soon or should I bring it in cash? he assumed I knew where he was, I went to the senior officials and told them that the account number I sent money to asked for money for another twenty bags of cement, I was given the money with no hesitation, I did not tell my pastor, he probably would have cut me off from the errands, so I called the man and told him its been long I came their, he should please give me directions, he texted me the location and I went there to meet him in front of a giant building, he collected the money and I asked to see around, while inside, I could here people saying "this pastor work is fast o" and I smiled and greeted and asked which pastor, the guy answered "you don't know that pastor who's church is in the next town with plenty members? I smiled again, knowing it was my pastor, although I knew but I asked to clear all doubts in my heart to what am unveiling. I kept pretending until I went to the pastor one afternoon and jokingly asked him if we could build a little house in the church premises or start a primary school to employ jobless graduates, to my greatest surprise his response shocked me, he said "please no money now" then I asked where is all the tithes we've been paying? he smiled and slowly changed topic and ended the conversation with a prayer point. It was then I knew what he was doing with our tithes and offerings"
The pastor was trying to get to his car close to the end of the story had been stopped and brought back inside, after the story, the church asked him if it was true, he quickly denied and said it was God's money, then the members called out the church officials and asked them to quickly check the church's account balance.
The senior official said there was no need checking, he said he had been afraid of opening up but there is no dime in the church account, he added that the last time money was sent to that account was about 10 months ago which has been withdrwan, while listening to the senior official's confession, the pastor tried to run out and members chased after him picking whatever was close to them and throwing at the pastor, our source said that he was rescued by policemen eho happened to be in the neighborhood to pick up some street boys who were fighting that very morning.
His wife was untouched as she claimed having no idea about all the happenings.
what has the church turned to? or should I say what have some people turned the church to?
Know God by yourself and for yourself.
Fear God!
